2004

 

Balitano was founded by Fil Sciglatano in 2004. From 2004 to 2008: We focused on road reconstruction projects aimed at beautifying city streets throughout Bergen County.  Starting in 2008: We transitioned to the residential market in Bergen County, catering to single-family homes, eventually expanding to serve the high-end residential market.

2015

             

In 2015: We acquired commercial property management accounts, allowing us to embark on capital improvement projects for condos, apartments, and multi-family dwellings across New Jersey. Between 2017 and 2020: We added park and green space projects to our portfolio, including creating veteran memorials, designing baseball fields, and enhancing open park spaces.

2020

         

In 2020: We incorporated outdoor living rooms with custom amenities to enrich everyday moments and create outdoor sanctuaries for our clients. 

Family Owned

Our founder, Fil, brings a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to Balitano. Having worked in the stone supply industry from 1999 to 2001, he gained invaluable insights into various materials, including manufactured stone, natural stone, and hardscaping products. Additionally, his tenure as a project manager for a landscape design company prior to founding Balitano honed his skills and laid the groundwork for the establishment of the company.

Fil Sciglitano is the founder and President of Balitano. Fil started the company in 2004 because he realized he has a passion for transforming the outdoor living spaces within his community and see people truly enjoy every aspect of their homes – inside and out.

Giuseppe Sciglitano

Operations Manager

As Balitano’s Operations Manager since 2014, Giuseppe Sciglitano began as a laborer, knows every project detail, acts as commercial jobsite supervisor, ensures customer satisfaction, and boosts efficiency.

Katerina Sciglitano

Controller

Katerina Sciglitano serves as Controller for Balitano. She joined the company in 2018 as we continued to grow. She also assists in project management and customer communications to ensure that all the customers receive the attention they deserve.
